Activision Confirms Release Date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Activision has confirmed that the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be November 10, just in time for the in-game reveal event that will take place in Warzone.
A Teaser Trailer Announces the Release Date
A brief teaser trailer, including the game’s name and release date, was used to make the announcement.
A voice can be heard stating, “Never bury your enemies alive,” therefore, heed this warning.
Features and Updates
This information still needs to be uncovered concerning the components that make up the game. On the other hand, it has been established that the game incorporates carryover from the previous installment, Modern Warfare 2, in the form of weaponry and other characteristics of the characters. Reports have also been that the game will reintroduce some of its older maps, such as the Terminal. Other reports concern including the Ninja Perk and the old mini-map in the next Modern Warfare 3 game.
A Departure from Tradition
The original plan for Modern Warfare 3 was to release it as a paid add-on for the previous game, Modern Warfare 2. During development, on the other hand, the choice was made to complete the game before releasing it to the public. This was a departure from previous Call of Duty releases, which had, in the past, traditionally changed their overarching themes with each new installment.
