Iran’s Emergency Organization announced that several people were killed and others were injured in the collapse of a four-story building in Nusud, Kermanshah on Thursday morning.
According to a spokesman for the country’s emergency management, the accident killed two people and injured at least six others, probably caused by a gas leak.
The accident occurred a day after the derailment of a passenger train between Mashhad and Yazd in the Tapas district, killing 23 people. This month, the collapse of the Abadan Metropolitan Tower killed at least 41 people, making the security of buildings and structures in Iran a major headline.
