Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, discussed developments in Ukraine.
Today, Wednesday, the media office of the President of Belarus noted that Lukashenko and Al Nahyan had a telephone conversation and discussed bilateral relations between Belarus and the UAE, in addition to the situation in Central Europe and Ukraine.
The call comes against the backdrop of Russia continuing to pursue a special military operation launched on February 24 in Ukraine.
Russia’s ally, Belarus, is accused of providing military aid to the Russian side from Western countries and Ukrainian officials.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi previously held phone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, urging them to realize the political resolution of the crisis in a way that guarantees the interests of all parties and ensures global peace and security.
