Barcelona president Joan Laporta said at a press conference yesterday that his club had made an offer to Bayern Munich to sign Polish striker Lewandowski.
“I hope that the reaction of the management of Bayern Munich will be positive,” added Laporta.
“I would like to thank Lewandowski for what he is doing to complete the deal.”
Lewandowski is linked to Bayern Munich under a contract that extends until June 2023, with the player now worth €45m in marketing value, and German club officials have repeatedly declared their commitment to the Polish striker before the end of his contract, hoping to renew with him.
