The Organizing Committee of the Saudi Aramco International Women’s Championship, represented by the Public Investment Fund, announced that Thai star Athaya Tetikul, ranked fourth in the world, and Swedish star Lynn Grant, winner of the Women’s European Tour title, have been awarded the Order of Merit. 2022, joined the list of names participating in the tournament, which will feature 15 players. Commenting on her readiness to participate, 19-year-old Athaya Tetikul said: “It has been a long time since I participated in a tournament organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where I played two tournaments at the Royal Greens Club. in 2021 and achieved high results. At the age of 14, Teticol also won the European Women’s Championship in Thailand in 2017, making her the youngest female golfer to win a professional tournament in both the men’s and women’s categories.
