Today, the Ministry of Sports hosted a conference for the sports sector to report on developments in the sports arena in the Kingdom, at the Mahd Academy Conference Hall at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh.
Dr. Rajaa Al Salami, Assistant Minister of Sports for Information and Communications, explained that the ministry will be holding this conference on a regular and weekly basis to clarify everything that is happening in the sports community and the principle of transparency. in the work of the ministry, based on the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Olympic Committee, and the Saudi Arabian Paralympic Games, to inform the sports street of all sporting events and events in the Kingdom.
For her part, Her Royal Highness Princess Dalil bint Nahar bin Saud, Deputy Director General of the Saudi Arabian Games, got acquainted with the concept, mission and goals of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Games, as well as the results of performance tests in all sports that will be participating in the Games, as well as the launch of the Games torch relay, which will tour the Games throughout the Kingdom, covering more than 3,500 km; Promote the tournament by pointing out that the Saudi Games 2022 aims to identify talent and encourage sports in the community.
On the other hand, Deputy Minister of Sports for Sports and Youth Abdulaziz Al-Massaad spoke about the initiatives that have taken place as part of the club support strategy launched in mid-2019 and the rate of goals growth. achieved through these initiatives.
The head of the Sports Arbitration Center, Dr. Muhammad bin Nasser Bassem, spoke about the center and the tasks of the committees, pointing out that the center is the highest and exclusive body in resolving sports disputes through mediation or arbitration.
