Tomorrow at the Prince Saud bin Jalavi Stadium in Al Khobar kicks off the fifth and final round of the Group D competition in the Asian Under-17 Championship qualifiers, where the Saudi Arabian team will face their Indian counterpart, and the Maldives will face Myanmar.
Saudi Arabia secured their third consecutive win yesterday after beating Kuwait 2-1 and India beating Myanmar 4-1 in the fourth round of the Group D competition for the 2023 Asian Under-17 Championship Qualifier.
With this result, the Saudi team leads the group standings with 9 points in three matches, with a goal difference with India, compared to 6 points for Kuwait, while Myanmar and the Maldives are still deprived of points.
In the first round Saudi Arabia beat Myanmar 6-0 and Kuwait beat Maldives 6-0 while in the second round Kuwait beat Myanmar 1-0 and India beat Maldives 1-0 and in the third round, Saudi Arabia defeated the Maldives. 9:0, while India beat Kuwait 3:0.
The first place team in each group will advance to the final along with the top 6 teams that came second in the ten groups.
