Apple has published watchOS 9.3.1, a relatively small update to its watchOS nine operating systems, which was initially introduced in September. The software will be available three weeks after watchOS 9.3 was initially released.
watchOS 9.3.1 is available for free download through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. To access the download, launch the app and navigate to the General > Software Update menu option. To successfully install the latest software, the Apple Watch has to have a battery that is charged to at least 50 percent, it needs to be connected to a charger, and it needs to be within Bluetooth range of the iPhone.
watchOS 9.3.1 brings “critical security updates and bug fixes” to the Apple Watch, as stated in Apple’s release notes for the software update.
