Al Taawun loses lead and clashes with Al Duhail on Friday

Al Taawun side dropped to second place in the 2022 AFC Champions League third group after a 1-1 draw with Iran’s Sepahan Isfahan in a meeting that brought them together on Monday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraydah. the fourth round of the group stage of the competition. Al Taawun advanced in the 47th minute through Samihan Al Nabit before Shahriyar Maganlo equalized with Sepahan in the 65th minute Al Taawun thus dropped to second place with 7 points compared to 4 points for Sepahan who is in third place, while Al-Duhail led the group with 9 points after today’s 3-0 victory against Pakhtakor, who finished last with 3 points. In the fourth round, Al Taawun will face Al Duhail next Friday.
