It has been confirmed that Al-Nasr goalkeeper Amin Bukhari has been absent from stadiums for four months while he is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation for a recent injury.
Yesterday, Al-Nasr Club announced the successful shoulder stabilization surgery carried out by its young goalkeeper Amin Bukhari in Madrid, Spain.
The operation was performed by specialist surgeon Dr. Manuel Leis under the supervision of club doctor Dr. David Marquez in one of the specialized clinics in Spain.
The player will undergo treatment and rehabilitation for a period of 3 to 4 months, which means he will be absent until the start of next season.
Amin was injured in an Al Ahly match to leave midway through the second half to replace veteran Waleed Abdullah.
The Al-Nasr club found themselves in a difficult position following injuries to their defenders Waleed Abdullah and Amin Bukhari, were it not for the league suspension that saved the team before Waleed recovered and returned to his team’s goalkeeper.
Al Nasr’s administration is determined to find a prominent foreign goalkeeper to sign for next summer’s Mercato as the Nasr defender has been a big gap in the team’s journey all this season.
