Three foreign professionals are threatening Al Ahly to go to FIFA to collect overdue fees, while a Saudi player could go to the Football Association’s Professional Committee to claim his financial fees.
Tunisian professional Hamdi Al-Naqaz is demanding 4 million rials owed to him, while Roman Mitrita is demanding 5 million rials and the club owes Omar Al-Soma about 12 million rials in debt.
While player Hussein Al-Makahwi, whose contract with the club has recently expired, is entitled to 4 million 500 thousand rials, and Al-Makahwi recently signed a transfer contract with Al-Fateh.
On the other hand, Al Ahly Club will have to pay 48 million 34 thousand nine hundred and forty nine rials to obtain a financial performance certificate so that it can enter the current summer Mercato, according to the financial commitment announcement by the Sports Club Financial Performance Committee under the Ministry of Sports payable by March 31, 2022.
The committee has set 21 August 2022 as the deadline for fulfilling these obligations in order for clubs to receive a certificate of financial soundness.
