His Excellency Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Council of Ministers and Climate Envoy Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir today met with the European Union Political and Security Committee, chaired by the Chairman of the Committee, Ambassador Dolphin Brock, with the participation of the Director General for the Middle East and North Africa by Helen Le Gall and several members of the Committee. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union and ways to strengthen and develop them in all areas and in the light of Vision 2030, and also discussed the most important regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also touched upon issues of environmental conservation, climate change counteraction, energy issues and the Kingdom’s tireless efforts to preserve the environment and limit climate change at the local, regional and international levels, including “Saudi Green” and “Green Middle East”. initiatives.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the European Union, Saad bin Muhammad Al-Arifi.
