The Al Ittihad team resumed training yesterday at the club’s stadium after the rest of the technical staff, led by Portuguese Nuno Santo, handed over the team, returning to Jeddah after the end of training camp in Austria.
Yesterday’s training was the first for the federal team led by Santo at the club’s stadium, where the Portuguese coach began his mission with the team in the Austrian camp.
The team is currently preparing for a friendly match scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, with Abha, which will be the last experience for the team before the start of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pro Cup.
Al-Ittihad will begin his campaign in the new season by meeting justice outside of his bases in Al-Ahsa.
For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Bishi is nearing the end of his rehabilitation program, which he underwent throughout the camp in Austria, after the player’s operation to clear his knee.
After that, Al-Bishi will join the team’s group training in preparation for participation in the matches.
On the other hand, Nuno Santo recommended signing new contracts to support certain positions in the team, given his reservations about the levels of some players following them in the Austrian camp.
