Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, reaffirmed the GCC’s support for all efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability in brotherly Yemen and achieving development and peace for the Yemeni people. .
This happened during his meeting with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen Hans Grundberg today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.
The meeting reviewed the most notable UN efforts to end the conflict in Yemen, as presented by the UN envoy declared a truce, as well as the outcomes of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations held recently at the headquarters of the General Secretariat and under the auspices of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and with the participation international envoys in Yemen.
The importance of monitoring the implementation of relevant resolutions in this regard and continued efforts to develop efforts that reflect the desire of the Gulf countries, the region and the international community to advance the development, aid and economy in Yemen in line with the aspirations of the Yemeni people, and to discuss issues of general interest and recent developments in the region.
