The President of the Sudan Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received a written message from Eritrean President Isaias Afwerk regarding bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them.
This happened today when Al-Burhan received the Eritrean Ambassador in Khartoum, Issa Ahmed, in his office at the Presidential Palace, who conveyed a message to him.
In a press statement after the meeting, the Ambassador of Eritrea said that he conveyed the greetings of the President of Eritrea to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, noting that Afwerki was following the developments in Sudan with great interest, noting that the security of Sudan represents security for the African region and that Sudan is able to solve its problems by broadening the base of participation between all components and engaging in serious and honest dialogue.
