His Excellency Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, met today at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh with the Special Envoy of the Chairman of the Transitional Council on Sovereignty in the Republic of the Sudan for Neighboring Countries and the African Union, Ambassador Duffall Al Haj Ali. He praised the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all the Gulf countries in the current crisis in Sudan, commending the efforts of the Arab League, the Quartet, as well as all international and regional efforts aimed at reaching a consensus among political forces, put end the crisis and ensure security and stability in Sudan.
