Al-Atwi has extensive experience as he holds a FIFA professional license and has attended training seminars at Manchester United, Real Madrid of Spain and Rome, Italy. Al Atwi also had a period of cohabitation with Spanish coach Kiki Setien at Real Betis while Al Ettifak was his last training base.
