Activision Provides Update on Call of Duty 2023 Release
Activision has revealed that development of Call of Duty 2023 is ‘proceeding well,’ with the game targeting a Q4 2023 release window.
During its second quarter earnings call, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty 2023 will be available on PC and consoles later this year.
Teams at Activision are hard at work on major new instalments in the franchise for a Q4 release. The development of this year’s full annual premium release on PC and console is progressing smoothly. Additionally, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, an internally developed mobile game closely integrated with the PC and console experience, is currently being tested in various regions.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Continuation

Sledgehammer Games is handling the development duties for this installment. Earlier this week, Activision hinted that content from MW2 will be transferable to this year’s game.
