An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale shook northern Pakistan today.
The Pakistan Meteorological and Geological Service said in a statement that the earthquake’s epicenter occurred at a depth of 191 kilometers in the Hindu Kush mountain range in northern Pakistan.
She added that the earthquake was felt by residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan province and caused panic among the local population, noting that there were no immediate reports of human or material losses.
