The Camel Club will start its Eid al-Fitr activities within three days from Boulevard City, Riyadh.
The shows, which start from day one, include 12 activities, starting with a reception at Square 2 at Shaar House, a photo shoot in traditional dress, a Shaddad Cup corner, an outdoor exhibition, camel models in the corridors and camel and camel marches.
Camel Club Executive Director Engineer Bandar Al-Qahtani said participation in the Eid performances comes from a belief in the importance of spreading heritage culture and linking generations and visitors to Saudi Arabia’s ancient heritage.
Al-Qahtani noted that the Al-Shaddad Cup, which first appeared at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in its previous version, was made in Italy and won by Kuwaiti camel owner Ping Ping, will be available to spectators on the boulevard.
The executive director of the Camel Club noted that there will be fifteen camels dressed in traditional clothes of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and they will present their live performances to the public from the center of the square near the fountain.
The Camel Club shows will be among the activities offered at Eid al-Adha in the boulevard area, where visitors will see concerts, theatrical performances and fireworks.
