Egypt international Ahmed Heghazi arrives in Jeddah this Sunday evening after completing a treatment program following an injury he sustained with the Egyptian team against his Moroccan counterpart in the last Africa Cup of Nations and has been out of the stadiums for nearly two months. For the past two days, Hegazy has been in Germany, where he underwent a medical examination by the attending physician there to learn about the development of the rehabilitation program that he conducted in Cairo in the last period.
Ahmed Hegazy has to go through the rest of his qualifying program in the coming period before taking part in the team’s group training and doubts hover over his ability to catch up with the Al-Fateh match, with the Al-Hilal meeting in Jeddah going to be the closest to the first participation after a long absence.
On the other hand, the first team of the Al-Ittihad club will play their second friendly match today, Sunday, meeting with the Al-Hazm team.
The Romanian team Cosmin Contra aims to be at the level of all players and their readiness ten days before the meeting with Al Fateh in Al Ahsa, in the 26th round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Pro Cup, and all players will participate in Cosmin, including Muhannad Al Shankiti, who is recovering from an injury that sidelined him for nearly a month.
The meeting will take place at ten o’clock in the evening, and the third friendly match of the 27th Ramadan in front of Al-Wehda will be the last before the resumption of the championship.
