Barcelona president Joan Laporta has sparked controversy that the Catalan side could sign Polish star Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich’s top scorer.
Lewandowski’s contract with his Bayern club expires at the end of next season, in the summer of 2023.
But talks between Lewandowski and Bayern Munich’s administration are fraught with disagreements over the annual salary as well as the length of the contract, as the player wants to sign a multi-season contract.
And a report by renowned Spanish program El Chiringuito recently revealed the details of Barcelona’s offer for the Polish star to include him in the upcoming summer transfer market.
According to the report, Barcelona offered Lewandowski a salary of 8 million euros per year and a contract that is renewable for 3 seasons.
