Aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday that Russia’s new offensive in the country’s east is “very cautious” and will fail because Russian forces lack the strength to break through Ukraine’s defenses.
For his part, presidential adviser Aleksey Arstovich said that Russian forces are trying to find “sensitive points” in the defense of Ukraine, adding that “their attack will fail, I guarantee you that 99 percent of them simply will not have enough strength.”
“The battle for Donbass, which began yesterday, continues and continues with great caution. The battle will not be in favor of Russia,” he added.
