His Highness Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Camel Federation, chaired the second meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federation at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh. The Assembly approved the calendar for the new camel racing season in the Kingdom for the 2022-2023 sports season, as well as the holding of Mafared races for the current season with a prize fund exceeding 700,000 rials, and also approved the establishment of a golden commentator race.
His Highness the Chairman of the Board of Directors thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them – for the generous care and generous support that camel sport has received in the Kingdom, who introduced it to the world, and the daily follow-up actions of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports, President of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee of Saudi Arabia, President of the International Camel Federation.
