And the Mehr news agency said Vice President for Women’s Affairs Shahra Mousavi was arrested after “several complaints.”
In February last year, the head of the Iranian Federation, Shahabuddin Azizi Khadem, was dismissed after a year in office.
The state-owned daily Iran accused him of “lack of financial transparency” and “signing a contract with a Zionist company to import Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology.”
The vice president’s husband is also under arrest in a counterfeit cryptocurrency case, according to the official agency on Sunday.
