French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, on Saturday evening, two days after his previous meeting.
In the statement made by the Elysee Palace, it was stated that Macron “assured himself once again that France is ready to support Ukraine and to make more efforts with its European partners”. He discussed possible ways out of the crisis with him.
“At the initiative of the French side, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, following the exchange of views on the situation in Ukraine,” the Kremlin said in a statement today.
