New Survivor: Trevor Belmont
Introduction of a New Character
- We are thrilled to introduce Trevor Belmont as the newest Survivor in Dead by Daylight. With his unique abilities and versatile perks, he adds fresh dynamics to gameplay.
Perk Overview
Eyes of Belmont
- This perk allows players to reveal the Killer’s aura for a duration of 1, 2, or 3 seconds immediately after a generator is completed. Notably, if the Killer’s aura is already revealed, the duration of the reveal extends by an additional 2 seconds, providing Survivors with critical information to evade the Killer.
Exultation
- Players can now have a chance to stun the Killer using a pallet. Upon successfully executing a stun, Exultation will upgrade the rarity of the item carried by the Survivor and restore 25% of its charges. This perk comes with a cooldown of 40/35/30 seconds, making timing essential for effective use.
Moment of Glory
- This perk automatically heals the Survivor by one health state after they open or rummage through two chests, activating a healing process that completes in 80/70/60 seconds. However, should the Survivor enter a Dying state before healing completes, the effect will be cancelled, emphasizing the need for strategic decision-making under pressure.
New Killer: The Dark Lord
Character Profile
- The Dark Lord showcases a unique playstyle with his ability to shift between different forms, each possessing distinct powers.
Killer Forms
Vampire Form
- This form allows the Killer to cast a Hellfire spell that generates pillars of flame on the map, creating hazardous zones for Survivors to navigate through.
Wolf Form
- In this form, The Dark Lord gains enhanced tracking capabilities and an increase in movement speed. Additionally, he can utilize Scent Orbs to execute powerful Pounce attacks.
Bat Form
- This transformative ability bestows Undetectable status, meaning that the Killer cannot be detected by Survivors unless they are nearby. This form also increases movement speed, enables the Killer to ignore vault points, and provides teleportation options to nearby vault locations.
Perk Overview
Hex: Wretched Fate
- Once a generator is repaired, a previously dull totem will become a hex totem, inflicting a repair speed penalty of 27/30/33% on the Obsession. This adds a compelling strategic layer to the gameplay.
Human Greed
- This perk reveals auras of unopened chests and Survivors who enter an 8-meter range. Moreover, it allows Survivors to unlock closed chests at a 50% faster rate, creating a dual-layered cat-and-mouse mechanic.
Dominance
- The first time a Survivor interacts with a chest or totem, it will be blocked by the Entity for a duration of 4/6/8 seconds. This forces Survivors to consider their approach and adds pressure to their chest or totem interactions.
Killer Updates
The Doctor
Dynamic Cooldown Adjustment
- The cooldown for the Static Blast ability is now dynamic, reducing to 30 seconds if no Survivors are caught and extending to 45 seconds if at least one Survivor is hit, down from 60 seconds previously.
