RT correspondent in France reported that many truck drivers and workers in the road transport sector will travel to the capital, Paris, on Friday to join the popular mobilization against high fuel prices.
He explained that workers’ protests are expected to include demonstrations, a blockade of gas depots and a refusal to supply fuel from the environment.
And many road transport workers said they rejected the authorities’ decision to cut 15 cents per liter on gasoline and diesel to help families and companies cope with rising fuel costs.
France and other European countries are trying to protect consumers and companies from record energy prices, which have increased even more with Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.
