Amazon Renews The Wheel of Time for Season 2: A Promising Fantasy Adaptation
Amazon has shown immense confidence in its highly anticipated fantasy adaptation, The Wheel of Time, by renewing it for a second season seven months before the show even began airing in 2021. Starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, a member of the Aes Sedai, an order of women with magical powers, the series follows their quest to protect the world from evil. Showrunner Rafe Judkins, a fan of Robert Jordan’s novels, is leading the adaptation.
