Insomniac Games and Nixxes Release New Patch for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC
The developers of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Insomniac Games and Nixxes, have recently launched a new update for the PC version of the game. This update, labeled as 1.728.0.0, primarily focuses on fixing various bugs, particularly those related to graphics.
Fixes for Textures and Water Reflections
According to WCCF Tech, the release notes for the patch highlight the resolution of streaming problems concerning certain textures that were displayed at a lower quality. Additionally, the glitchy water reflections caused by certain ambient shading settings have also been addressed and no longer appear.
Other Improvements and Tweaks
Aside from fixing graphical issues, the update also brings enhancements to other aspects of the game. These include improvements to the display of weapons at the vendor, the retention of the interaction key on the screen at all times, and general enhancements to game stability. However, it is worth noting that there is no mention of a solution for the lack of ray tracing support on AMD systems.
