A Turkish delegation is set for arrive in United States for meetings and discussions on economic relations between the two countries said the Presidential Directorate of Communications of Turkey on Sunday.
Tenuous in coordination with Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), “Commercial Diplomacy Events” will be held across the United States in support of the goal of $100 billion in bilateral trade between Turkey and the United States set by the leaders of the two countries declared the direction in A declaration.
The Delegation of senior officials, members of parliament and business people of Turkey will be in in the United States Monday through Friday and maintain various meetings to discuss bilateral relations, new horizons in economic cooperation and potential areas of economic cooperation.
The delegation will meet on commercial diplomacy and bilateral economic relations in Washington and New York.
It will include the head of bureau Presidential Investment Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, Chief Advisor to the Presidency and Member of Economic Policy Council Cemil Ertem and Ziya Altunyaldız, MP and President of the Party of justice and Development (AK Party) of the Parliamentary Commission for Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources,information and technology.
Among others, Vice President of TIM Başaran Bayrak, Vice President of TIM Brand Council Süleyman Orakçıoğlu, Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice President of The union of Chambers and stock exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and many businessmen also to be in the Delegation.
The delegation will meet with Turkish and American businessmen and visit US departments of State and Commerce and the United States Chamber of Trade.
He will hold talks on the intensification of commercial relations between the United States and Turkey in the think tank of the Atlantic Council and also meet with members of the American and international hurry.
Commercial diplomacy panels and workshops will be held as part of of the program increase turkey role in transatlantic exports, the statement said.
Signs titled “Joining our forces for Prosperity: Turkey-US Relations” and “Turkish-US Efforts for New horizons: business objective of 100 billion dollars” will take place at Turkish House (Türkevi) in New York.
