Fans Bid Farewell to Grown-ish as Season 6 Marks the End
Fans of the hit sitcom Grown-ish (2018-Present) are very excited for Season 6, but they are also getting ready to say goodbye to their favorite show because Season 6 will be the last time we see the Johnson kids in action. Grown-ish is a spin-off of the popular show Black-ish. It follows the children of the Johnson family as they go to college and start their journeys to becoming adults. One of the best things about Grown-ish is that it shows how complicated college life can be. From the pressure to do well in school to the difficulties of making new friends and figuring out who you are, the show shows college life in a realistic and relatable way. It also talks about important social issues. Throughout the series, the characters deal with issues like academic scandals, mental health, police brutality, and social media activism in a natural and real way. These storylines are handled with care and sensitivity, which has helped the show become a voice for social change.
As fans prepare for the last season, they will probably talk about how they think the show will end. Will the characters graduate and move on to the next part of their lives? Will there be any twists or turns that come as a surprise? Will it be a good ending to a popular and important series? Here’s what we know about the show’s last season.

Who is the Director of Grown-ish Season 6?
Grown-ish was made by Kenya Barris and Larry Wilmore, and the sixth season will be produced by ABC Signature. Craig Doyle will take over as the showrunner from Zakiyyah Alexander and Courtney Lilly. Doyle is also an executive producer, which is a job she has done before for the show Black-ish. Shahidi is also one of the show’s executive producers, along with Kenya Barris, Zakiyyah Alexander, Courtney Lilly, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins, and Michael Petok. He plays the main character in the show.
Kenya Barris, the show’s creator and executive producer, said in a statement about the end of the popular show, “We’ve been telling our stories through the -ish series for nearly a decade, and to say it’s been an amazing journey would be an understatement. Over the past few years, it has been a joy and an honor to see Yara, Marcus, and the rest of our “grown-ish” family grow up in front of us and, in many ways, with us. I couldn’t be more proud of everything we’ve done and the -ish family I’ve been a part of, from the stories we’ve told to the talent we’ve helped grow to the memories we’ve made.
