Towards a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3?
This is indeed what has been said very seriously for months and months: the next Call of Duty (to be released this year) would thus be Modern Warfare 3, following on from Warfare 2 released last October. The course of the title will have been complicated since at the base, it was not thought of as a complete game, but rather as a premium version of MW2 with many remastered maps. Finally, Activision would have chosen to make a game apart.
The return of requested functions
Among the “novelties”, we could also find the famous and iconic mini-map so demanded in recent years, the same one momentarily displaying the enemies after a gunshot without a silencer. Long-time players know very well what we are talking about.
War mode would also make a comeback, who made a strong impression in Call of Duty: WWII. In the latter, we even had a whole hub where players could interact and tackle a few activities, before starting games to kill each other in joy and good humor.
To finish, the Ninja asset would also be back while we can put several assets on each piece of our equipment such as gloves, helmet or boots.
Already a prognosis on the announcement of the game
Undoubtedly, this MW3 would therefore be a continuation of its predecessor – moreover, it is also said that the menus would be similar to those of MW2 – which seems to confirm Activision’s initial wish to make a simple update.
Finally, let’s finish with another potential and important piece of information: many insiders agree that the announcement will take place on August 1st in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, via the DMZ mode. We’ll see, but the reveal should in any case not delay, anyway.
