Muhammad Al-Balawi, two winners of the main races in the 2023 Al-Mafarid race final, during the final stage held today at Taif Square with 323 horses competing in 15 races for financial prizes of up to more than 2,300,000 million rials.
First Place Winners
Raisi Bakkar Mafarid with a time of 2,57,391 minutes, and its prize is 100,000 rials and the championship cup, and its owner’s “attractive” mount, Awad Saleh Al Rizka, won the amount of 100,000 rials and the championship cup, which is the prize for the first place in the race “Raisi Ka’dan Mafarid” with a time of 3 00 805 minutes.
Prizes for Runners-Up
The first place winners in the remaining 13 races received 10,000 rials, while the runners-up received 20,000 rials in the main races “Al-Baqqar and Al-Qa’dan Mafarid” and 5,000 rials in other stages, while the third place winner won 7,000 rials for the main runs of Al-Baqqar and Al-Qa’dan Mafarid and 3,000 rials for Bakkar and Al-Qa’dan Mafarid and 2,000 rials for the remaining draws, while the fifth place winner won 5,000 rials for the main draws of “Al-Baqqar and Al-Qa’dan Mufarid” and 1000 rials for the rest of the runs.
Record-breaking Number of Horses
Notably, in the final round, the number of horses competing in the fourth edition increased to 6,823 horses, making it the highest number in Alphared racing history since its launch in the first edition in 2020.
