In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait expressed its condemnation and exposure of the attack on the headquarters of the head of the military department, as well as all forms of violence and vandalism, especially directed against the headquarters of diplomatic missions and related buildings, which are a flagrant violation of international norms, norms of international law and the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
The Ministry reiterated its call on the authorities and stakeholders in Sudan to take swift action to fully protect the headquarters of the diplomatic missions, ensure the integrity of their buildings and property, the safety of their personnel, and punish those responsible for these incursions.
