The State of Kuwait welcomed the signing by the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces of the (Jeddah Declaration) on the protection of civilians in the Sudan and the facilitation of humanitarian action to meet the emergency needs of the civilian population and ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Sudan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait commended the continued efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States. The US Government encourages and encourages the Sudanese parties to come to the negotiating table that resulted in this important commitment to protect the safety and security of civilians, commending the content of the declaration and subsequent agreements, which included finding a mechanism for a permanent cessation of hostilities that facilitates the withdrawal Sudan from the current crisis.
The Ministry reaffirmed the position of the State of Kuwait calling for the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities and hostilities and continued dialogue between the Sudanese parties in order to overcome differences and achieve a permanent and comprehensive solution to the current crisis in a way that preserves the security, stability and territorial integrity of brotherly Sudan.
