The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh al-Suhaibani, described the blatant incursion by the Israeli occupation police into the courtyards of the Holy Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan and the attack on unarmed worshipers and those who retired in it, and obstructing them from performing their rites , as a gross violation of the existing historical and legal situation, and a gross violation of all international laws and pacts, as well as a provocation of the feelings of all Muslims; He expressed the strong condemnation by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of this aggressive behavior and sinful attack by violating the sanctity of sacred places of worship. This came from a speech he gave during an emergency meeting of the open-ended executive committee to discuss the ongoing Israeli attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in which he indicated that this meeting would take place in less than two months from the previous extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee, which was held to discuss Israeli aggression against our Palestinian brothers in the city of Nablus and the entire Occupied Palestinian Territory.
He said: “The Kingdom has repeatedly made it clear that violence breeds nothing but violence and extremism, and the cycle of violence only brings destruction and destruction, fueling feelings of hatred and desperation, fueling conflict and undermining efforts for peace and dialogue. In this regard, the Kingdom holds the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the consequences of these acts of aggression, which threaten the security and peace of the entire region.
He added: “I do not need to emphasize the historical positions of the Kingdom and its rational leadership, which has been well established over the centuries in support of the cause of Palestine and the brotherly Palestinian people, as these positions are based on a solid historical principle. which is that the Palestinian question will remain the fundamental and fundamental foreign policy issue of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until the Palestinian people regain their usurped rights and their occupied land and establish their Palestinian state within the 1969 borders, with East Jerusalem in as the capital, according to the three terms of reference.
Al-Suhaybani pointed out that the Kingdom, which presides over the Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was established after the heinous crime of burning the Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969 AD, and represents more than a quarter of the Member States of the United Nations, stresses the need to implement the resolutions adopted by the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and also calls for the immediate cessation of all racist policies of the Israeli occupation authorities and illegal practices that are inconsistent with the obligations of the Israeli occupation authorities under the Charter of the United Nations, the Fourth Geneva Convention and international law human rights; In addition to the relevant United Nations resolutions, he also calls on the international community to address these arbitrary and illegal measures without delay and to counter them by all means consistent with resolutions that have international legality.
The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation expressed the hope of the Kingdom that the meeting will end with the crystallization of a common movement and a unified Islamic position within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and in coordination and integration with active regional and international organizations to stop these Israeli attacks and violations of Islamic shrines.
