An earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale struck today on the east coast of the Russian Kamchatka Territory, no one was injured.
According to the Geophysical Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the earthquake occurred 48 km from the Administrative Capital and occurred at a depth of 99.5 km.
