Counter-Strike Global Offensive Source 2 (CS: GO Source 2) continues to be shrouded in smoke. According to the most recent data, executable files for CS: GO Source 2 are spreading around the internet.
Images supplied by Twitter user Gabe Follower show the executable and “csgos2” being expressly mentioned in what looks to be a launcher. The fact that source 2, “TestedNamePrefix,” has the label “leftfordead3” is also intriguing.
Something weird just happened again, looks like CS:GO Source 2 executables going around, someone just sent me them, and it's legit. pic.twitter.com/8vTpPNygU6

The enormous rumor continues to burn even if none of the most recent information supports the presence of a significant update coming to CS: GO. It was discovered in a DOTA 2 information update about CS: GO Source 2 earlier this month. References to CS: GO Source 2 were also detected in a recent Nvidia driver release.
In the meantime, CS: GO’s popularity is still high. With almost 1.4 million concurrent users on March 11, the game shattered its previous record for concurrent gamers on Steam. The statistics show that players are back and enthusiastic about what might happen.
