The Nintendo Switch 2, or whatever the successor will be called, may arrive slower than many people would want. Doug Bowser, president of Nintendo of America, at least suggests that.
According to Bowser in an interview with The Associated Press, the business still sees a future for the original Nintendo Switch even though a new console version will soon be produced.
We’re entering unknown terrain with the platform, as Mr. Furukawa (Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa) recently stated, Bowser, remarked. “Seeing that there is still the demand is encouraging. Hence, nothing is new to announce regarding any upcoming console or device, but the Nintendo Switch is still our top pick.
According to Bowser, the belief that the Switch will endure is due to the fact that it is a “really unique product.” According to him, the console’s various gaming options will allow it to “have a robust performance over the next few years.”
Many future significant console releases will contribute to the system’s predicted excellent performance. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Minecraft Legends, and other games will all be released in 2023, to name a few. Metroid Prime 4 and a new Detective Pikachu game are two other games that are still in development.
With the help of those games, Nintendo anticipates selling more hardware until 2023 and beyond.
Do you anticipate that the Nintendo Switch 2 will eventually be unveiled?
