Today, pictures of what appear to be parts of Apple’s impending mixed-reality headset were posted online.
The tweets come from a verified account holder with a history of providing reliable details regarding Apple products. Three of the images depict curved ribbon cables, which might be used to link a display’s components to a circuit board and are made to fit comfortably around a user’s eyes. Another look to show a comparable length flexible ribbon with an array of three sensors or cameras.
A “happy face” emoji is displayed beside the collection of sunglasses pictures. Even while they are not specifically related to Apple’s headset, the ribbon cables’ shape supports claims that they were created for the forthcoming model.
The first-generation mixed-reality headgear is anticipated to be unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June, with a launch following. There haven’t been any real-world leaks of the Apple mixed reality headset’s parts online. But, more photographs will surface as the device’s launch approaches and mass manufacturing begins.
