A 15-second preview for Shredder, the recognizable, venerable supervillain, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ arch-nemesis, was uploaded on the Call of Duty Twitter feed. Direct hints indicate that Shredder will assume the role of the new Operator on March 21. Yet, it still needs to be determined whether the Turtles themselves will support him.
Given that Call of Duty has previously collaborated with other cult classic titles to release skins, Operators, and other cosmetics, this is not an odd addition. For instance, crossovers between Rambo, Godzilla, Scream, Die Hard, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre have been seen in recent years.
Will the Ninja Turtles accompany Shredder into Warzone and Modern Warfare II as a new Operator?
Cowabunga?
Shredder is a perfect fit for the tone of Call of Duty’s second season, which has already seen ‘Ronin’ make a comeback and several weapons, like the ‘Dual Kodachis,’ disappear from Modern Warfare II and Warzone. A “Shinobi” bundle—another word for a ninja—is available. The brand-new Warzone map, Ashika Island, is closely related to that design.
Shredder poses with his recognizable gauntlets, two blades, and helmet in the brief teaser trailer, cutting an intimidating figure.

The possibility of the Ninja Turtles appearing in their authentic form in Modern Warfare II and Warzone looks remote. There is no reason why a skin couldn’t be created based on the fighting four, though. Will a mid-season upgrade bring pizza-themed stickers and ooze grenades?
August sees the release of a brand-new, all-star TMNT animated film. Yet, there is no proof that this revelation is remotely connected to the upcoming movie.
