Ukraine denies any involvement in the bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea last September.
“Ukraine has nothing to do with the incident in the Baltic Sea and has no information about any “pro-Ukrainian group,” Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
This came in response to a report by the American newspaper The New York Times, which said that US officials had information indicating that a “pro-Ukrainian group” was behind the Nord Stream bombing.
At the same time, the report states that there is no evidence of the involvement of the Ukrainian government in the explosion.
