In solidarity with the Syrian people and at the initiative of the Arab Forum in Amman, and in cooperation with the bodies and activists of the Arab world, Europe and North America, a campaign called “Stop the siege” will begin next Saturday.
The campaign is being carried out, according to the statement, “in solidarity with the Syrian people who are suffering from the unilateral measures imposed on their country by the United States and its European allies.”
The statement indicated that it is aimed at mobilizing efforts to lift the Western blockade measures imposed on Syria, especially after the recent earthquake.
Notably, the first activities of the campaign will begin the day after tomorrow, on Saturday, through a series of simultaneous stops in Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, the UK, Slovakia, Ireland, Germany and Canada.
These events will also be followed by many events as the campaign is expected to be expanded to cover many countries in upcoming events.
