The Ambassador of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques in Jordan, Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, received the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, in his office at the Embassy today. During the reception, they discussed fraternal relations between the two countries, joint cooperation in various fields, ways to strengthen and develop them .
Al-Safadi said: “The positions of the two countries under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein – may God protect them – always go in support of the interests of our Arab and Islamic countries, indicating the level coordination and constant consultation between the two leaders.
He stressed the depth of Saudi-Jordanian relations and the constant desire to develop them, explaining that what unites them in terms of common issues and interests, as well as deep-rooted fraternal relations, encourages them to expand joint cooperation in all areas.
Al-Safadi praised the Kingdom’s stance in support of Jordan and said: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – God bless him – has never withdrew from Jordan’s support, which we appreciate. and appreciate it.”
The Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament hailed the position of the Kingdom and its historical role in defending the right causes of the nation, as well as the role of the Shura Council in defending the various issues of the Arab and Islamic nations, highlighting that the Kingdom has supported Jordan in various circumstances and conditions and the contribution it has made to support Jordan and creating projects and investments, reflects the desire of the leadership, government and people of the Kingdom to support Jordan.
He described the anniversary of the founding of the Saudi state as historic, stressing that the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been and will remain a safety valve in protecting Arab national security from any threat.
Al-Safadi noted that his country is proud of the high level of bilateral relations between the two countries, which he called historical and rooted, noting the desire of King Abdullah II and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to develop them.
He stressed that joint parliamentary coordination with the Kingdom is ongoing and at the highest level.
In turn, Ambassador Al-Sudairi stressed the depth of Saudi-Jordanian relations and the importance of solidarity and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, pointing to the constant coordination and consultation between the leadership of the two countries in such a way as to strengthen bilateral relations and move them forward by serving issues of common interest.
