Martı electric scooter app reported a data breach, with evaluation in progress on how numerous people have been affected, Turkey’s data watchdog announced Saturday.
In its statement, the Council of protection of Personal Data (KVKK) said the company had reported the breach in line with legal obligations.
Unauthorized people accessed Martı systems for data supervisor databases. the board and the company have been informed of violation by the controller, it added.
The violation was detected by an email sent by the person responsible for the violation party on February 26. A survey is underway to find out the user groups, the number of people and the categories of personal data affected by the breach, as well as with its source and method.
