The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the Israeli assault on the Palestinian city of Nablus, which killed several Palestinians and injured dozens, expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and the brotherly Palestinian people and families of the victims, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, in a statement today, stressed the need to end the violence and escalation and ensure the protection of civilians in the occupied territories, the importance of resuming the peace process in the Middle East and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the two-state solution, the relevant resolutions on international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative in a way that enhances security, peace and prosperity in the region.
