The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that after the opening of humanitarian aid corridors in the Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha, areas belonging to the Russian army were bombed and a residence was blown up.
Today, Saturday, the head of the National Center of the Russian Defense Administration, Mikhail Mezintsev, said: “This Saturday at 10:08 am, artillery fire was opened on the positions of the Russian armed forces from the city of Mariupol, and also continuous fire was opened. From 10:11 to 10:21 this morning, fire was opened from Volnovakha.
“At 10:39 a.m. a residence blew up in Mariupol, as many as 200 people, including the elderly and children, could fall under the rubble,” he said.
Mizintsev stressed that ultra-nationalists do not allow civilian Ukrainians to leave the city through humanitarian corridors.
