Rescue teams managed to rescue a young Turkish woman from the rubble in Kahramanmaras 248 hours (11 days) after the earthquake. Young teams pulled Alina Olmaz (17 years old) alive from under the rubble of a collapsed building to the Dol Kadiroglu area, Anadolu news agency reported. Rescuers handed over Olmaz to ambulance teams for hospitalization.
On February 6, a double earthquake of 7.7 and 7.6 degrees occurred in southern Turkey and northern Syria, as well as hundreds of strong tremors, which led to huge loss of life and property damage in both countries.
