His Excellency Minister of Health of Turkey Fahrettin Koca met with a delegation from the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center and the Saudi Red Crescent involved in assisting earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey during the delegation’s field trip to earthquake-hit areas in the city of Hatay.
The Turkish Minister of Health noted the Kingdom’s prompt response to the Ministry’s request for emergency medical care for earthquake victims in the affected areas, expressing deep gratitude to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown prince and prime minister, may God protect them.
For its part, the delegation expressed appreciation for the funds provided by the Turkish government to Saudi medical personnel to carry out their humanitarian tasks at the affected sites, noting that the Saudi air bridge includes various medical equipment to help the victims of the earthquake and alleviate their suffering.
